LinkedIn campaign measurement

When LinkedIn measurement is configured, its Insight Tag loads only after you enable marketing cookies and only on public marketing pages. It is not loaded on sign-in, registration, account, member, administrator, password, confirmation, or unsubscribe pages. The tag may create LinkedIn cookies or pseudonymous identifiers to measure advertising performance and build audiences.

We retain first-touch and most-recent campaign parameters in local storage for up to 90 days after marketing consent. Stored attribution is limited to campaign parameters, the page path, a referrer without query parameters, timestamps, and a LinkedIn click identifier when present. The browser tag is not given the names, email addresses, or enquiry text entered into ECL Square forms.

If LinkedIn server-side conversion measurement is enabled, a completed conversion can be matched using a one-way SHA-256 hash of the normalised email address, a LinkedIn click identifier when available, the conversion rule, event identifier, and time. ECL Square does not send enquiry text, names, job titles, or company names in that server conversion payload. The delivery ledger redacts its request payload after successful processing; a terminal failure can be retained for diagnosis for up to 90 days before redaction.
